Learning Styles Myth

Explores research that challenges the ideas of learning styles.

Learning Styles Myth Intro

Research shows that individual students can't be separated into "auditory learners" and "visual learners", but that learning styles are instead "malleable, overlapping, and more determined by environmental factors."  So rather than, for example, giving some students auditory options and other students visual options, it's better to give all students both modalities (as appropriate).
