Online Resource Center: The portal for AskRI, a service provided by the Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) in Rhode Island, offering a collection of online resources, databases, and reference services accessible to Rhode Island residents, students, and educators, providing reliable information for research, homework help, professional development, and lifelong learning.

Educator Resources: Provides a variety of resources specifically curated for teenagers, including book recommendations, educational resources, online tools, and databases to support their academic, personal, and creative pursuits, offering a dedicated space for teens to explore and access resources that cater to their interests and needs.

John Hay Library Visitors: The John Hay Library is open to the public. Appointments are required for the Special Collections Reading Room. All visitors to the John Hay Library should review the information on the Hay’s Visiting webpage.

All Visitors: All visitors to the Library must follow the University’s Student Conduct and Community Standards. Library facilities are academic buildings intended to support the educational and research purposes of Brown University and are primarily for the use of those holding Brown ID cards. Every person should be prepared to present a valid picture ID to gain access to the Library.

Hours and Access: Library hours are subject to change, especially during exams and when classes are not in session. We reserve the right to deny access at any time to those not holding Brown IDs. Please note that Library facilities may not be used for commercial or paid services.
